We’re excited to work with you and create images you’ll love. To help you feel confident, prepared, and relaxed, here’s a clear overview of what you can expect before, during, and after your session.
Before Your Session:
1. Booking & Deposit
Once you select your session type and date, your booking deposit confirms your appointment and reserves your time in the studio. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your session details.
2. Preparing for Your Session
A little preparation goes a long way. Depending on the type of session, we may send you:
- Wardrobe tips and color recommendations
- Pose inspiration or mood boards
- Location or studio directions’
- Suggestions on hair, makeup, or grooming
- What to bring (outfits, props, accessories, meaningful items)
If you have a specific look, style, or vision in mind – share it! We love working collaboratively to bring your ideas to life.
3. Arrival
Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in, make outfit selections, and get comfortable. If you’re running late, let us know as soon as possible – late arrivals may reduce shooting time (see Late Arrival Policy).
During Your Session
1. Warm Welcome
We’ll greet you, go over your ideas, and walk you through the flow of the session. Even if you’re camera shy, you’re in good hands – we guide poses, angles, and expressions throughout your shoot.
2. Posing & Comfort
We use flattering, natural posing and provide direction the entire time. You don’t need to know how to pose – we do that part for you. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and authentic.
3. Outfit Changes & Variety
Some sessions include time for multiple outfits or looks. We’ll confirm how many changes your package includes, then plan the session to maximize variety and creativity.
4. Review and Wrap-Up
At the end of your session, we’ll review next steps, expected turnaround times, and when you’ll receive your gallery.
After Your Session:
1. Editing & Retouching
Every selected image is professionally edited to match our signature style – clean, polished, and natural. More advanced retouching (skin smoothing, body contouring, object removal, etc.) may be available upon request.
2. Turnaround Time
Standard turnaround time is 7-14 business days for most sessions and 4-6 weeks for weddings or large events. Rush options may be available.
3. Online Gallery Delivery
You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can:
- View all final images
- Download digital files
- Select favorites
- Purchase prints, albums, or additional edited images (if available)
Your gallery will remain available for a set period based on your package, typically 30 days.
4. Ordering Products (if available)
If you choose printed products such as albums, wall art, or canvas or framed prints, we will guide you through the sizing, layout, and design option to ensure the final result is perfect.
